Built in 1957 on the corner of First and University avenues in Durant, Southeastern’s Gymnasium and Physical Education Building has housed the Athletic Department. It was renamed in 1975 to honor legendary basketball coach Bloomer Sullivan, who won 662 games and 13 conference championships during his time as Southeastern’s basketball coach and athletic director.

Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium has been the home of countless Southeastern greats such as Dennis Rodman, Crystal Robinson, and countless others.
